I made it!

Hi everybody. I just wanted to let you all know that I made it through my surgeries yesterday with flying colors. They said that I had no problems with the anesthesia and I woke up very easily afterword, which doesn't always happen with us bulldogs. My doctor said that I was such a great patient. I spent the day today sleeping on the couch after mom picked me up from the doc. I am sure that I will recooperate quickly but boy was I tired today. My nurse told mom that she is a bulldog owner and she stayed by my side through the whole surgery to make sure that I was alright, they are so nice there. She told mom that to fix my eye they removed a small strip of skin above and below my eye, then stitched the skin back together. Ta-da, instant eyelift! I am so happy now that my eyelashes aren't rubbing on my eye!

Hey y'all

Hello all of my adoring fans! Sadie Marie here. I just wanted to give you all an update. I will be going in for surgery next Friday, March 6th. I am going to be spayed and have my entropian fixed so my left eye will be just as beautiful as my right. Hopefully I will eventually stop needing to have eye drops. I hate those pesky things!

I getta stay!!!

Hello everybody out there in bullie land. I know that there are so many people out there that have asked about me and that want to give me a great home to live in. I really appreciate all of you, but I've made up my mind that my foster family is the perfect one for me. I knew it right from the start but I wanted to be sure that they felt the same way too. They tell me that I am such a perfect girl and that they could never give me up. I love my brothers Sherman and Deiter, we have so much fun together. And mom and dad are the best folks that I could have asked for.

Mom loves to bring me out to visit all of the nursing homes and assisted living residents that are in need of some lovin and I am working on getting my therapy dog certification. I think that being a therapy dog is my calling in life. I can put a smile on anyone's face (at least that is what they tell me, hehehe.)

I still need to have eye surgery and get spayed, so any donations to help out rescue with that would be sooooo appreciated.

Great News!

Hello all of my adoring fans! I have great news today. I went and visited the vet today and he told me that I am mange free! I am so excited that I don't have to take that yucky medicine anymore, you have no idea how gross that stuff is, YUCK!!

Next thing on my to do list is my eye surgery and they want to spay me. I am almost ready to go live with my forever family. I am so excited, I will finally have a family to call my own.

A Letter form Sadie's Bro

Hello All of Sadie's fans. My name is Deiter. I am Sadie's foster bro. I just wanted to write to let you all know what a great sis Sadie is. We have so much fun together, she loves to play and so do I so we are a great team. We have a ton of fun at the beach. We love the beach so much that Ma and Pa call us beach bums.

My only complaint is that she always hogs my bed, I have tried to tell her she has her own big bed but she insists on sleeping in my little dachshund sized one. That's okay, I'm always a little bit cold and she is like my own personal heater, I love to snuggle and so does she. Whoever Sadie picks as she forever parents are sure lucky people.

Howdy fans!

Hello everybody, I just wanted to check in with you all. I am still doing great. I have a doctors appointment the first week of February to see if I still have mange. Keep your fingers crossed for me please, I can't wait until I don't have to take this yucky medicine anymore. Once my mange is gone I will still need to wait for 30 days till I can get spayed and my eye fixed, then I will be ready to go.

My foster fam and I are loving the nice weather that we have been getting, I have gone to the beach 2 times this week! I LOVE IT! Ma says that I am getting more and more coordinated, I am not just a clumsy puppy anymore.

Sadie Beach Bum

Hi there everybody! I just wanted to share some pictures of my trip to the beach. I have never had so much fun in my whole life! My foster brothers and I had sooo much fun running on the beach and getting our toes wet. We were the only family on the beach on this beautiful sunny day so Ma & Pa let us run like crazy. I have decided that the beach is definitely my new favorite place.

Well I've got to go take a nap, I'm whooped.
